Rebel Creek Country Rock
Band was first conceived early in February 2006 by Nick Thompson and
Paul Owen.
The line up: Mike (Mad Dog) Kingston, Vocals, Acoustic Guitar, Harmonica. Paul (Quick Draw) Owen, Lead Guitar, Banjo and Vocals. Andy (The Bandit) Wain. Pedal Steel Guitar, Dobro, Mandolin, Acoustic Guitar and Vocals. Cowboy Nick Thompson, Double Bass. Adam Wain, Drums. All the members of Rebel Creek have at some time been professional musicians during their career in bands and this is evident in their performance. Rebel Creek play hard hitting Country Rock Music from the likes of Alan Jackson, Toby Keith and Garth Brooks combined with traditional songs from Doc Watson and Chet Atkins. Rebel Creek have several sets, ranging from fully acoustic to blistering hot electric. Paul's electric and acoustic performances are outstanding, Andy's steel guitar playing really sings out, whilst Adam's drumming and Cowboy Nick's double bass keep your feet tapping. Add to that Mad Dogs stunning vocals and you have a recipe for one hot country rock band. Rebel Creek perform at Pubs, Clubs, Festivals and Private Functions, for all occasions.
